STORY CONCEPT
Main STORY
Chorizo is the story of a luchador pig in the fight for Fight City. He’s left the stability of a life as a career Ring Member and is trying to pave the way for his own championship in order to rebuild his family’s legacy. To win the city’s championship at the upcoming Fight Fest, he’ll need to earn a number of Championship Rings from the cast of Ring Leaders throughout Fight City.
Chorizo is inspired by the grittiness of the attitude era of WWE, the childish collectibility and cuteness of Pokemon, and the depression and yearning for belonging in Lost in Translation.
SHORT EPISODE
Chorizo's story starts in his hometown of La Correa, during the middle of a match against the capitalist priest of Mega Muscle Church, Arma de Dios. Arma’s only interest is to put butts in the seats and sell his merch while showing off those sweaty, shiny, guns. He probably as an infomercial on at 2:00 AM somewhere.
The viewer will be thrown into an action-packed fight with Chorizo trying to win one of his first Ring Leader matches, learning more about the dumb things that Arma de Dios and his altar boys will do to prevent that from happening.
CHARACTERS
Chorizo
Chorizo is shorter and fatter than most of the fighters, with a splash of depression and functional alcoholism that he tries to shake off by focusing on his larger goals. He had the option in the past to take a job as a lackey to Ring Leader, but his love for working for himself and building a bigger legacy kept getting in the way. He’s a hopeful dreamer and a sarcastic grump with a distaste for bullies, and can take a beating better than most fighters.
Chorizo intends to rebuild his family’s relationships and legacy by earning the city’s championship, inspiring other animals along the way.

Arma de Dios
Arma de Dios (aka Dillo Daddy aka The Patron Saint of Pain aka God’s Weapon aka Father Flex) is the longstanding Ring Leader and priest of Mega Muscle Church. He’s a beefcake armadillo with no intention of letting Chorizo earn his first title win. Chorizo must defeat Arma and his lackeys, the Gibraltar Boys, in order to win his first championship ring. Arma is fueled by admiration and greed, previously using the persona Arma de Disco until the money and fanbase with that gimmick dried up.
Gibraltar Boys
The altar boys of Mega Muscle Church. They worship the ground that Arma de Dios walks on, and will do anything to make sure he’s always looking his best. This includes being his towel boys for getting those hard to wipe sweaty spots…
Commissioner & The Kid
The main announcer team of Fight City. We’ll see these two following Chorizo during his biggest fights, adding that dumb flair that you’d expect from a team like this. They’re also a former tag team, so don’t be surprised to find them rolling up their sleeves when they have to.

FUTURE STORIES & CHARACTERS
Stories
The Chorizo story is built as a giant arc spanning tons of fights across Fight City. Each episode is intended to be a stand-alone story that works for both new fans and followers of the story, with new villains and scenarios. Here’s a small list of the upcoming fights:
Chorizo vs Arma de Dios - Chorizo in his first title fight against Arma de Dios, the muscle-bound freak of a priest and Ring Leader of Muscle Church
Chorizo vs Paying Rent - Chorizo gets a job downtown doing customer service at a popular website company to help pay for his championship quest. On his last day of orientation with a big presentation to give, Chorizo’s laptop is stolen by the Showtime Boys during his subway commute, leading him deeper underground to fight in the royal court of Trash King, a raccoon with a legion of fighters collecting quality goods for his garbage empire.
Chorizo vs Having Basketball Skills - Chorizo’s first team-up. Chorizo ends up entering in a 3on3 no-fouls basketball tournament in order to win tickets to the Rico Rumble. He’s randomly partnered up with Coop, a skater pigeon, and Mantra, the athleisure yogi praying mantis. Chorizo and his new crew have to step up and slam on Deadstock, the hoops hyena, and his boys Bodega and Skurrcrow.
Chorizo vs Himself as a Drag Queen - Chorizo is brought to a drag show by his brother, Jamon. The show is inside of Pussy’s, a club and fight ring owned by Cat the Drag Queen (a bobcat). He ends up having to backfill for his brother in a tag team drag fight, where he’ll be dressed as Choriza and forced into fight karaoke and dance-offs. Once he realizes there’s a championship ring to win at the end of the match, he brings out his fiercest.
Characters
There are tons of characters built so far, and here are just some that are going to be appearing in the Chorizo universe:
