Project Management for Making Comics: Progress Tracking
I’m as interested in the process of making and marketing art as I am in the storytelling. Before Chorizo was started, I had been a Project Manager for a good amount of time.
There are little things that use in my tech career that I’ve transferred to making comics. I like to make a million things at one time, and the only way to manage that effectively, for me, is with a tight system.
This is definitely not the coolest thing, but I’ve built a spreadsheet to help with knocking out pages for the upcoming book.
You can make a copy and edit it however you’d like, that’s just the way I use it. I like knocking it out from script to colors, and I set the standard 24 pages but that’s not a rule.
